Position Summary

  • Responsible for coordination of School Health Services in Pitt County.
  • Repsonsible for supervision of school health staff.
  • Responsible for providing training and program development opportunities for regional affiliates/hospitals and allied health students.
  • Responsible for oversight of all budgetary aspects of School Health Services.
  • Promotes and participates in clinical research opportunites.
  • Contributes to service excellence in hospital, school or community venues.

Minimum Requirements

  • College Degree (4 yrs)
  • Major: BSN required.
  • MSN, MPH, or MPA with major in Administration, Public or Community Health required.  Current NC RN licensure & BCLS required.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience as a school nurse and previous supervisory experience
