Position Summary

  • The team member performs general maintenance duties as directed by the Supervisor and Manager of Plant Operations. 
  • The team member responds to work requests by hospital staff and completes all assigned work orders.
  • The team member makes emergency and trouble repairs, performs preventive and routine maintenance. 
  • The team member performs skilled maintenance tasks related to hospital utilities and various equipment as necessary, and uses common hand tools, test equipment, machines, power and related equipment.
  • The team member assists in maintaining HVAC, plumbing, ventilation and related equipment. 
  • The team member refers problems requiring extensive repair to appropriate individuals. 
  •  The team member will demonstrate appropriate behavior in the workplace, treating all staff, visitors and patients with respect and dignity.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Specialized training min 6 months to 2 years or higher
