Position Summary

The Vidant Wellness Center (Greenville location) Aquatics Department is seeking experienced lifeguards, who are dependable, have a positive attitude, and possess strong work ethics.  As a member of the safety team, employees in this area must display a high attention to detail, emphasize a proactive approach to injury prevention, and respond effectively should an emergency arise.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Professional communication with members, clients, & staff
  • Patron surveillance & safety; provide care as appropriate in emergency situations
  • Secondary tasks, such as checking chemical levels, minor cleaning tasks, usage tracking, event reporting, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic Skill Set or higher
  • Lifeguard certification
  • Zero to two years related experience
  • Nationally Recognized CPR Certification

Desired interview period 2/15/19-3/15/19

Ideal candidate is able to work at least 10 hours per week
