About Tarboro Clinic

The Tarboro Clinic is located in Tarboro, North Carolina and has over 20 providers and 50 clinical staff members to meet the medical needs of their community and enhance the quality of medical care.


The principal duties will be to act as a liaison between the nursing staff and the nursing supervisor. The lead nurse will report directly to the nursing supervisor and must comply with all policies and procedures of Vidant Medical Group. 

  • Scheduling float staff
  • Training/orientation of clinical staff (completing skills check off)
  • Wellness program coordinator
  • Tracks CPR & license renewal
  • Documents PSN events
  • Works with Occupational Health Nurse to track events
  • Reclast infusion coordinator
  • Daily monitoring of crash cart 
  • Infection control documentation
  • Maintaining documentation of clinical staff licensure
  • Back up for Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Minimum Requirements

  • Asssociate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Unrestricted current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • 4 Years RN Experience
  • BLS required

Preferred Requirements

  • ACLS and/or PALS preferred
  • Two years leadership experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
