Position Summary

Medical Technologist Supervisors oversee the operation of the VMC Dept. of Pathology during times when VMC lab managers are not on site.The MT Supervisor serves as the "General Supervisor" as defined by CLIA-88 Federal Regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Medical Technology
  •  ASCP
  • 3 to 5 years bench experience as a Medical Technologist with demonstrated supervisory capabilities
  • Experience in a large Academic Medical Center a plus

Other Information

  • Full time with benefits
  • Will also train in some technical areas (e.g. specimen support, BB, Heme, etc) to provide coverage and fill slots as needed
  • Hours to start are 1430-2300
  • Relocation allowance if needed (75 miles minimum)
  • This position is located in Greenville, NC
