About Tarboro Clinic

The Tarboro Clinic is located in Tarboro, North Carolina and has over 20 providers and 50 clinical staff members to meet the medical needs of their community and enhance the quality of medical care.

Vidant Multispecialty Clinic

The Multispecialty Clinic was founded in 1928 and is the oldest multispecialty group in North Carolina.

The clinic offers family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonary, general surgery and immediate care.

With a staff of 92 employees, the multispecialty clinic offers a full-service lab, imaging services, a sleep lab and a free-standing endoscopy center. Additional services include pulmonary function testing, bone density tests, EKGs, exercise stress tests, echocardiography, Lexiscan and Dobutamine Cardiolite tests, and multi-gated acquisition scans.

Position Summary

Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus less than 1 year of formal training or education Specify: LPN Diploma.
  • CPR certification; exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.
  • North Carolina LPN Licensure or evidence of application for endorsement and holding temporary LPN licensure.
  • BLS required

Preferred Requirements

  • ACLS Preferred
  • Ambulatory Experience Preferred.

Other Information

  • Hours - 20 Hours a week. Monday-Friday 5pm - 9pm, hours subject to change based on need.
