About Vidant Bertie and Chowan Hospitals

Vidant Bertie Hospital is a six-bed critical access state-of-the-art facility located in Windsor, North Carolina and Vidant Chowan Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Edenton, NC. Both hospitals provide surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, specialty clinics and primary care clinics. Our primary care physician practice operates the Vidant Family Medicine - Windsor, and we have a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Our medical staff includes some of the finest primary care, internal medicine physicians and surgeons in the region.


Position Summary

Responsible for providing therapy services to patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team with most emphasis on group therapy.

  • Facilitates Group Therapy
  • Works with a multidisciplinary team and patient to develop treatment plans and coordination of care
  • Provides case management
  • Completes documentation daily in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Assist in program growth and development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
  • State licensure at the independent levels of practice as professional Social Worker or Counselor
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Must maintain current BLS certification

Other Information

  • Full-time position with benefits
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Position will be based out of Vidant Bertie Hospital (Windsor) with one or two days per week at Vidant Chowan Hospital (Edenton)
