Position Summary

  • The Inpatient Skin and Wound Program Nurse provides direct patient care and serves as a clinical resource/ consultant for patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems.
  • The Inpatient Skin and Wound Program Nurse should be prepared to provide the full scope of enterostomal therapy nursing practice, including education, counseling, research and administration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • MSN may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
  • Current RN licensure is required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred Requirements

  • MSN is preferred.
  • Current Wound and Ostomy certification by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) is preferred.
