Position Summary

Aseptic preparation of sterile IV admixtures, including responsibility for all activities related to the operation of the Pharmacy IV Additive service.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 1 year, but less than 2 years of formal training or education.
  • Must be registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of employment.
  • One year of  pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Certified with the PTCB preferred.
  • IV additive experience preferred.
