Vidant Duplin Hospital is a 81-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The newly renovated, 15-bed ER serves approximately 22,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.

Responsibilities

  • The Human Resources Specialist provides safe, expedient, cost-effective human resources services.

  • As a member of the Human Resources team, the specialist will coordinate and oversee the employment & recruitment of permanent and contract employees of legal working age. 

  • Behaves in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all Health care professionals.

  • Responsible for working with members of the management team to fill their vacant positions.  

  • The Human Resources Specialist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality customer service to all Directors, Managers, employees, individuals and organizations within the community.

  • In addition to performing Human Resources duties, Human Resources Specialists are required to possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as computer, interpersonal, organizational and presentational skills while demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all patient/staff relations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related field .

  • Excellent computer skills – word processing and spreadsheet.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years related experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • 4 year college degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.

  • Full Time (40 hours/week)
