Responsibilities

  • Responds to special cleaning requests from various hospital departments and assures completion; maintains and/or repairs cleaning equipment; submits work orders to Plant Operations for repairs of any other hospital facilities; schedules and coordinates activities of cleaning personnel; instructs personnel in cleaning procedure and shows training film; performs performance evaluations.
  • Makes continuing inspections of hospital facilities in areas of responsibility to assure cleanliness.
  • Makes recommendations to improve procedures. Maintains cleaning records; orders supplies; and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent     
  • Related Work Experience- Minimum of 3 years.
  • Progressively responsible experience in housekeeping or related field; one additional year of college education may be substituted for one year of experience with a maximum substitution of a Bachelor's Degree with no experience.

  • 2 full time vacancies, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, includes every other weekend.
