Position Summary

  • This position assists in providing quality food service to patient and non-patient customers through the transportation, delivery and retrieval of completed patient trays. Will perform a variety of tasks including cleaning and general sanitation operation of food service equipment; assist  in services and preparation of the food and beverages to patients and non-patient customers.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Certificate plus completion of internship for Project Search at Vidant Medical Center may substitute for the High School diploma requirement.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)
  • 1 - 3 years experience is required.  Previous hospital food service experience is preferred.
