Position Summary

As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business and operational objectives with employees and management in assigned areas. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on HR related issues/needs.  The HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions that deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the health system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Four year college degree:  Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in Human Resources with a preferred focus in the resolution of complex HR issues.  Will consider a minimum of (3) years of Business and/or Operations experience.
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated success performing at the tactical and strategic level.
  • Strong interpersonal and political savvy with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with particular ability to communicate complex and/or sensitive information in a clear, concise, diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Champion for Vidant Health's mission, vision, and values and ability to translate through the HR Business Partnership model.
  • 5 years of related work experience is required.
