About Vidant Bertie Hospital

Vidant Bertie Hospital is a six-bed critical access state-of-the-art facility located in Windsor, North Carolina that provides surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, specialty clinics and primary care clinics. Our primary care physician practice operates the Vidant Family Medicine - Windsor and we have a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The Emergency Medicine Physicians see approximately 30 patients per day, as well a cover the 6 inpatient beds during nights and weekends. Our medical staff includes some of the finest primary care, internal medicine physicians and surgeons in the region.



  • Maintains floors and baseboards in a clean and sanitary condition. Meets hospital expectations in the appearance of floors, carpeting, and baseboards.
  • Inspects, operates, and cleans equipment to maintain, protect, and enhance their operation and durability.
  • Receives and follows claning schedules, duties, and instructions.
  • Stocks supplies and linens as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years experience in floor care (stripping, waxing, and polishing floors)
  • Basic Skill Set or higher

Preferred Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Housekeeping experience in a hospital setting

Other Information

  • Full-time position with benefits
  • Night Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:30 am (40 hours per week)
  • Must work every other weekend and some holidays
