Position Summary

Assist in the analysis and interpretation of Vidant Medical Center finance performance. Prepare and coordinate distribution of various financial and operational reports and analyses to administrative staff and department managers. Proactively identify key variances from expectation and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Four year college degree is required. 
  • BBA, BS or BA with a major in Accounting, or related degree is required.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance many competing priorities.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, word-processing, and presentation software.
  • Experience in statistical and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Maintains a positive and supportive attitude and demeanor.
  • Professional handling of exposure to confidential/sensitive information.
  • One to three years of financial analysis experience preferably in health care.

Preferred Requirements

  • Masters in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.
