About Tarboro Clinic

The Tarboro Clinic is located in Tarboro, North Carolina and has over 20 providers and 50 clinical staff members to meet the medical needs of their community and enhance the quality of medical care.

Position Summary

  • The ECHO technologist produces  recordings of  the heart muscle  for use by the Cardiologist  in diagnosing disease and studying malfunction of the heart.
  • He/She modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and level of development of patients including adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
  • The ECHO technologist must be familiar with Cardiac Protocols for Cardiac examinations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Two Year ECHO Degree Required.
  • Diagnostic technologist RT( R ), preferred but not required.
  • The employee must have an RDMS or CCI registration with current certification.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of accreditated program of EchoCardiography.
  • CPR Certification

 Requirement

  • Echo Tech Experience

  • Use of Definity Contrast and Bubble Studies

Other Information

  • Hours - Full-Time - 32 hours a week - 9:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday.
