Position Summary

  • Assists in the development, implementation of the organizational Compliance Program.

  • Responsible for daily program oversight and management, as well as responding to regulatory agency requests.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in health care facilities, outside regulatory agencies, compliance or healthcare auditing is required. Three (3) years in progressive management leadership is required.

  • Two (2) year college degree in Healthcare related field is required. Four (4) year college degree in Healthcare, Health Information Management, or other related field of study is preferred.

  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent is required.

  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist (CCSP), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certifications required.

  • Other relevant degrees, certifications and/or experience may be considered as equivalent as described herein.

  • Strong organizational and oral and written communication skills, analytical and reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Office products as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and EMR systems (e.g., EPIC). Experience with paper, computerized and hybrid medical records.

  • Clinical trial research, HIPAA privacy and security experience is a plus.

Preferred Requirements

  • Medicare/Medicaid, Stark, Anti-kickback, investigating, coding/billing and revenue cycle experience preferred.

  • Ability to research and Provide prompt feedback, along with Critical Thinking Skills preferred.

Other Information

  • Hours - Full-Time - 40 hours per week.
