Position Summary

  • Responsibility, accountability and decision-making authority for facilitating the implementation of systems, programs and strategic initiatives that advance entity capability and enables the Office of Experience (OX) and Hospitality program to refine and improve patient and family experiences. Develops and aligns strategies, initiatives, supporting infrastructure, and budgets that enable a department(s) to achieve results that align with established quality imperatives to create and sustain operational excellence. Communicates department(s) objectives to team members to ensure understanding of goals and their alignment. Oversees department(s) initiatives and operations, including team members, budget, and vendor management. Measures effectiveness and take steps to ensure continuous improvement of department performance. Facilitates change to advance the organization and uses resources and operational practices to drive execution of plans. Ensures that policies, procedures and practices are followed to support a culture of excellent experience and safety, evidence based care, high reliability, performance improvement and transparency are maintained in all work. Accountable for a positive organizational culture in decision making and performance management to influence team members behaviors and enhance job experience. Member of entity management teams and functions as a key liaison between the leadership teams, team members and physician partners of the health care facility and programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Five to seven years related experience
  • Progressive  responsibility in guest relations, hospitality, or in person customer relations. Experience working for a healthcare provider or hospital.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, teach, make independent decisions and assume responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of team members.
  • Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
