Position Summary

A relationship builder and versatile communicator who is excellence driven, focused on solutions and is passionate about high-quality outcomes, the Digital Strategist is a seasoned tactician, creative thinker and storyteller. Understanding the value of communications, this team member is responsible for system-wide digital strategy, implementation and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements system-wide digital and social content strategies that drive engagement.
  • Responsible for website management and maintenance to ensure that optimal UX and UI and new, consistent information is strategic and regularly updated.
  • Leverages data/analytics to develop and manage KPIs for performance status and improvement reports.
  • Builds brand awareness, engagement and conversions by managing content for a complex ecosystem of digital channels.
  • Provides insight into the end-to-end digital customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints and provides recommendations for improvement and/or enhancement.
  • Manages social media and digital communities via regular, active posts and information sharing. Monitors and responds when needed to drive community engagement and service recovery.
  • Leads content integration across digital channels and platforms with other technologies as opportunities identified.
  • Partners with team members as necessary to execute go-to-market digital campaigns that drive marketing success and business growth.
  • Collaborates with leadership and team members to execute and optimize lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Works with team members to develop graphics and content for all digital channels including marketing campaigns, landing pages, emails, digital ads, social media graphics, website, mobile and blogs.
  • Develops deep understanding of Vidant Health's business objectives and utilizes Google AdWords campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), and other digital marketing tools to increase traffic, improve conversion rates and generate qualified leads.
  • Researches, assesses, tests and implements innovative digital solutions, while serving as a resource for best practices.
  • Collaborates with team members on internal and external communications tasks and projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or related background required
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in progressive leadership experience in marketing or communications
  • Direct experience in digital and interactive marketing involving web content development and analytics
  • Up-to-date knowledge of and expertise in latest digital tools and techniques
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with experience editing for proper grammar, tone and voice
