Position Summary

A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using  ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received edcation and clincal experience and completed ARDMS certification/s, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • ARDMS registered or Registry eligible for ARDMS certification of Physics and one (1) specialty exam withing 12 months of employment/transfer is required.

  • As Needed position, hours will include days, nights and weekends
