Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.


  • Design and creation of dashboards, databases, tables, and reports to be used to guide Human Resources decision-making.
  • Coordinate, plan, organize and perform data analysis on activities associated with Human Resources programs and other external agencies.
  • Query databases to obtain quantifiable data and produce graphs of results for reports to various internal and external entities.
  • Utilize a variety of query tools to obtain pertinent data
  • Serve as the staff resource to answer questions regarding database structures, data to be captured, and data entry.
  • Serve as team member for the department to provide technical expertise in programmatic decision-making.
  • Design, program, document, and maintain reports and dashboards using data from multiple systems.
  • Consult with functional HR teams on the selection, application and implementation of metrics.
  • Perform industry research on benchmark trends and incorporate information into dashboards.
  • Complete survey data for benchmarking sources as required.
  • Works with necessary business partners on process improvement related to analytics.
  • Assists in developing and monitors key performance metrics to measure and drive results.
  • Analyze data for trending information and present to key stakeholders to aid in strategic decision making.

Minimum Requirements

  • Two year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Care or related field is required.
  • 4 year degree may be substituted for 1 year experience.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in human resources and data analysis is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Excellent knowledge of software and spreadsheet applications.
