Position Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day customer service activities and coordination of specifically assigned specialty pharmacy patients and new referrals. Responsible for inbound and outbound patient phone calls, prescription refill reminders calls, documentation of patient interactions, facilitation of patient to a pharmacist for consultations, completion of patient onboarding functions, ensuring effective coordination of care, and assisting with patient needs and requests. May also facilitate communication with medication access coordinators to effectively manage patient financial assistance needs. Provides excellent customer service during all interactions.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
  • PTCB Certification - CPhT
  • Zero to two years related experience
  • Experience in and working knowledge of the healthcare industry. 
  • Ability to work with and protect extremely confidential patient and employee information.
