Position Summary

The Clinical Trials Nurse oversees clinical trials for patients who are seen in the oncology clinic and is responsible for coordinating patient care following protocol guidelines for the purpose of recording, reporting data and the accuracy of the data.?? The Clinical Trials Nurse serves all departments assigned and centralizes protocol activity, assures coordinated multidisciplinary care to both inpatients and outpatients, establishes a patient outcomes database, monitors patients for quality of care and quality of life, and assists with case facilitation of Oncology patients.

The Clinical Trials Nurse will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other providers for recruitment, accruals, active and follow-up status of participating patients.

Minimum Requirements

  • ADN required.
  • Active RN Licensure in state of NC required.
  • Current NC drivers license is required.

Preferred Requirements

  • MSN preferred.
  • 3 -4 years of Oncology experience preferred.
