Position Summary

Under Clinical supervision of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care and the overall supervision by the Manager of Respiratory Care, performs as a resource person for Respiratory, Nursing, and Medical personnel. The major duties include providing technical and clinical information and support relating to all areas of the Respiratory Care practice. Serves as an active participant in the leadership of Respiratory Care, assisting in developing and obtaining departmental, team and individual goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active NC Respiratory License with active RRT credential
  • Active PALS & NRP for Children Hospital
  • Current NPS for Children Hospital Specialist
  • 4 years RRT experience -1 year as supervisor/Instructor preferred
  • AARC active membership preferred
  • Associates Degree required.  Bachelor degree preferred.---May substitute 4 years of experience for 2 years of education

  • Full Time with benefits
  • Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Other hours as needed (flexible to assist with Clinical from time to time)
