Position Summary

Experienced pharmacist with preferred oncology expertise to provide leadership and care coordination in our oncology clinics to facilitate safe prescribing and timely access to medications. The pharmacist will participate in the development of Specialty Pharmacy Services and will assist with the provision of pharmacotherapy services in collaboration with pharmacy and other multi-disciplinary teams. The pharmacist must be able to support workflow processes, execute quickly and accurately, and identify opportunities for improvement while working to a successful resolution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build relationships, and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve optimal patient experience and team member engagement is essential to this role.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. (or higher) in Pharmacy is required
  • One or more years related Specialty Pharmacy experience
  • Must be licensed in North Carolina prior to start date or within 30 days of hire.  Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually.
  • BLS is required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

  • Specialty Pharmacy certification
  • Three or more years oncology experience or comparable residency training
  • Master's Degree or higher
