Position Summary

Vidant Wellness Center is seeking child care professionals to meet Vidant Health’s  mission statement, “To improve the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina”. Candidate must be prepared to be in the swimming pool during water activity, outside during physical activity and willing to work weekends. Candidates also assist our center members with childcare for 3 month to 12 years of age in our Kidzone location while the parent is exercising. Care includes, but not limited to diaper changes, care of infants, toddlers and school aged children. Additional requirement to follow curriculums for physical activity classes and hosting birthday parties on the weekends . This position will mainly work the After School program of school aged children. Candidate must hold a NC driver's license and operate a 15 passenger van.

Minimum Requirements

Three to four years related experience
Nationally Recognized CPR Certification
Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the VH required insurance limits.
High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher

Other Information

Part time, 20-hour per week positions available. Hours are 2-6PM, M-F. Occasional weekends.
