We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Minimum Requirements

Four year degree:?? BS/BA in Child Development, Child Life or related field required.

Child Development/Child Life or related field. Child Life internship, course work related to development of children and effects of hospitalization, preparation and coping techniques for hospitalized children and bereavement education, continuing education is required.

Child Life Certification is required.

Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state that one resides and maintain the VMC required minimum insurance limits.

One year or less experience as a Volunteer, practium work, internship attendance a related conferences, workshops, seminars such as?? Child Life Council, graduate assistantship, and then entry level Child Life therapists.
