Position Summary

  • Coordinates clinic operations and assist providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management.
  • Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary.
  • Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records.
  • Must demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians.
  • Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified medical assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered medical assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT); Clinical medical assistant through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA); or National certified medical assistant through the National Center for Competency Training (NCCT)
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
  • Preferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
