Position Summary

The Care Partner performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.

Primary Population:

  • Includes but not limited to orthopedics, amputations, cardiac, respiratory, debility, trauma, and stroke.
  • Specialized care for adults and geriatrics.
  • 1000 admissions a year

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Active NAI listing with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services

  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing

  • BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider is required through American Heart Association.
