Position Summary

CIU provides services to adults and acutely ill patients. Skills that will be utilized are interpretation of complex cardiac rhythms and 12 lead EKG change recognition, arterial lines, central lines, IV start skills, peripheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various vasoactive intravenous drips with titration, conscious sedation management, sheath pulling - arterial and venous, 12 lead EKG performance, bedside procedures BiPap and cardiac monitoring.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Active NAI listing with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services
  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • BLS is required.
  • CPR required - BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association.
