Position Summary

Clinical Evaluation Unit is a unit where observation status patients at low risk for acute coronary syndrome are evaluated. CEU received overflow of populations such as medical and monitored observation patients as well as Regional ED chest pain patients. CEU is a monitored unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Active NAI listing with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services
  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Current BLS Provider Healthcare certification is required through American Heart Association.
