About the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center

The Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center provides outpatient cancer treatment services on the medical campus of Vidant Medical Center and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Cancer experts here diagnose and treat thousands of cancer patients every year.

Position Summary

  • Coordinates outreach network program development and maintenance in order to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Communicates effectively with Cancer Center, affiliate physicians/staff, county health departments and the American Cancer Society, as well as cancer care consumers within the Cancer Center Outreach network service area.
  • Maintains financial accountability.
  • Supports all aspects of clinical research.
  • Coordinates education for Outreach staff, patients/families, students and the public.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in nursing or other health related field.
  • Current RN licensure required.
  • OCN preferred.
  • 3 to 4 years work experience required.
  • Experience in coordinating multisite operations in a medical environment and in oncology is preferred.
