Position Summary

  • A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a CT Professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic CT procedures.
  • The scope of practice of the CT Technologist includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT R., CT. Registry(s) which is the standard of practice in Radiology.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 1 - 2 years of formal training/education.
  • Current R.T.-R (CT) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) CPR Certification.
  • IV certification within 6 weeks of hire
  • A minimum one year previous experience in Radiology preferred.
