Position Summary

Primary duties will be related to community COVID initiatives both within and external of the organization. Responsible for creating the first impression of the organization's services to patients and families and other external customers.


Collaborates to achieve program objectives

Collaborates with Manager and program staff to achieve program objectives and department mission

  • Participates in weekly program meetings concerning budget and program progress
  • Assists with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Participates in program meetings concerning specific department activities. d. Attends monthly staff meetings to discuss overall program

Assists with the development of department activities

Supports the Manager and program staff

  • Prepares various reports, materials, policies
  • Develops and gathers of materials for program promotion, and education
  • Supports program staff in preparation for events, meeting preparation, and outreach activities
  • Monitors compliance with department requirements
  • Assists with training and licensing needs
  • Tracks and orders department supplies

Develops relationships with and acts as a liaison program directors and coordinators

  • Represents the program to internal and external contacts
  • Serves as resource to program directors and program coordinators. Assists with data collection, data entry, and computer needs     
    Assists with data collection, data entry, and other computer needs supporting department objectives as appropriate
  • Maintains databases
  • Monitors compliance with training requirements
  • Assists with website development as appropriate  

Develops and monitors program budgets as appropriate     

  • Assists with budget monitoring, preparing forms and records for budgets and purchases    
    Assists program staff with program meetings
  • Attends department meetings
  • Assists with preparing agendas and meeting materials for meetings
  • Assists with projects and duties that are assigned as a result of meetings
  • Organize and order refreshments/supply items needed for meetings

Other Information

  • Position duties will be primarily related to COVID initiatives within the Occupational Health setting
  • Position is temporary in nature       
  • Shifts will vary to meet the needs of the department
