Position Summary

  • The Outreach Triage staff member provides behavioral health and/or chemical dependency screenings in the Emergency Departments of contracted hospitals.
  • The Outreach Triage staff member performs under the direction and supervision of the Attending Physician in the Emergency Department of contracted hospitals and within the framework of the philosophy and objectives of Patient Care Services and hospital policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a Master's Degree in a mental health field such as social work, rehabilitation studies, etc, with a clinical professional licensure such as LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), etc. or  RN licensure with psychiatric experience) at an ADN, BSN, or MSN level.
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical assessment experience in either an inpatient behavioral health setting or an outpatient emergency services setting preferred.
